I've checked out all of Allen Smith's books from the library and skimmed them, but this one I read every word of, cover to cover. If I had lots of expertise and lots of money, I would design my entire yard to look like an English garden. I can't afford to do that, but I can take little elements and work them into my yard and home. I took copious notes from this book and even got truly ghetto and took a photo of a table centerpiece! I'm going to have to buy this!

Great ideas, entertaining, beautiful pictures. I learned that stretching chicken wire across a vase will help the daffodil stalks stand up better. websites to find things, a craft section, and did I mention the pictures?
