I thought these were very good stories, but man I cant believe the author would just finish the series with such a cliff hanger and the story did not even seem completed. The main antagonist was still alive and winning the war. I don't understand why the author would end his series this way.

First off I need to mention that I don't normally write reviews. Typically when I write something I usually do a collection of thoughts, what I liked, what I disliked, and what I predict will occur in the future. I plan to do that more then write a formal review, although some might state that in essence it is a review. To start off with this book continues directly off the previous one where Alexander is just getting ready to depart the the elven land to help decide the next ruler. There is no time skips, and how could there be with a war directly about to occur. In the elven land Alex discoveries more about himself that helps explains his past and future in regards to his parents and his power. With this new knowledge and power Alexander continues on his quest to help protect the land and his friends.I'm not totally sure what about this book I enjoy the most. The writing style continues to draw me in and leave me in suspense even through there isn't many points that are major changing points. Thankfully there were more events that seemed chosen and not forced instead of being a more linear path like the first book. We continue to see Alex grow and develop throughout the book. One of the things I didn't like (view spoiler)[ was the sudden introduction to the dragon hearts. It was way to unexpected in the beginning of the book and seemed as an afterthought after the first book to give Alex a power boost. Looking back I can start to see there were ideas implemented or where the thought occurred, like the darkness vorm, in the first book but I think my biggest aspect that it was introduced in the first 20ish pages and seemed a little to sudden with no forewarning. At least it does help explain why the Reaper can't take over now after it has started to recover its powers. (hide spoiler)]The cliffhanger: I can't believe I have to wait a full year, most likely, waiting to figure out what happens next. I do have a few thoughts about what I suspect. (view spoiler)[ We were told about Adria has a Valkyrie inside of her that consumes Magic. Going away that we weren't given must insight about what effects that is causing it on Adria other then when her eye's are blue she could die and cause other events. Does this explain why she is a natural and has power that can almost rival a Dragon Knight and a few other questions about her? I believe it was an introduction to how Alexander will be saved. I suspect the next book will start off with Adria crying and yelling and then somehow calling and summoning the Valkyrie to spare Alex or bring him back to life. Possibly transferring the Valkyrie inside of him giving him another power boost. We already had a fight between Alex and Rufurious which Alex prevailed but previously he lost horribly to Thanos and I doubt that with Alex's current progress he would be able to win without getting a significant power-up, like from the Valkyrie and then having full control over all three characters. (hide spoiler)]Time to go through and read both books again!

In The Dragon Night Order Time of the Knights Alex is continuing on his quest to defeat the Irkanians and their leader Thanos. Alex unites with his dragon friends Shadow and Zetzu to unite the elves and humans so they can conquer the Irkanians. Alex meets a hermit named Vaurion who he later finds out is an Ancient Dragon with a Dragon Heart. Dragon Hearts can save anyone from death no matter the wound or the illness. Vaurion tells Alex that he was given a Dragon Heart as an infant and he is now in grave danger from Thanos. Thanos is trying to resurrect his mate Valceria but he needs to have possession of all the dragon hearts in existence.I did not really like this book because it didn't capture my imagination like the first book did. I liked the story line but it needed more details to be captivating. The characters were well thought out but they lacked depth. For example, in the first battle with Thanos the setting was not explained with enough detail and I became confused at times. The names were a bit confusing as well because of their spellings. I would not recommend this book to my friends and I would only read the next book if it was free.

Time of the knights was a good fantasy story using magic, dragons and other mythical creatures and humans in the age old fight.Time of the knights was a good fantasy story using magic, dragons and other mythical creatures and humans in the age old fight.I gave the book this rating as it kept me hanging on to the story from start to finish. I found it entertaining and refreshing. It gave me release from worrying about my final coming up and in its own way helped me study for said final.

Proofreading I wanted to be able to rate this book 5 stars, but there were too many proofreading errors. In addition, I didn't know what to think about the Valkyrie addition to the story. For the most part, however, I enjoyed the book. I wish the author had a good proofreader.

I really devoured this book in just a few hours. We meet new characters who or not human. We meet the main bad person, the wingless dragon. We also learn how Aria is special, and from now on that the two of them will have to stick together. Like a previously review says this book ends at a cliff hanger. I can not wait till the next book.

I really wanted to give this book four stars but it needed some serious editing. The story was great and fast paced. It ended with a cliffhanger so I went ballistic that it ended so suddenly. However, I can't wait for the next book!

The writer seemed to be in a rush and glossed over quite a bit of the story. I don't think I will read the next book in the series.
