This is a magnificent story that captured my and my niece's attention through the colorful illustrations. She just couldn't get enough of the colors and she did a lot of pointing at the screen while I read to her. I also loved the moral of the story as well. It drives home a perfect meaning and can be used as a great teaching book. There many different words too, that will help a child to develop their vocabulary too. I highly recommend this story to adults, teachers, and children that will want to read this story over and over again.I received a e-ARC copy of the book, directly from the author, in return for an honest review.

This is a wonderful story about Jefferson being different from the other caterpillars and how he deals with a "bully" picking on him - he shows everyone that just because you are "different" doesn't mean you don't have the same feeling and can be hurt by the things that others say and do to you - this is a great book for the little ones - great job Crystal Clifton - would definitely recommend this as a must read for all

I was so glad to pick up my copy of this book it is a cute book for the younger kids to learn about how you shouldn't pick or make fun of others. Because yes it will hurt their feelings but at the same time the person that is making fun will have their friends turn on them as well. It is a good lesson to teach the younger kids. I like how Jefferson even though he is picked on he tries to be nice still. The colors will keep the younger kids entertained while you read.

Crystal did an amazing job with Jefferson the Colorful Caterpillar. I love the illustrations, the story and what the story was trying to tell was great. One caterpillar bullies Jefferson cause he was a different color then the rest of them and does everything he can think of to get him to change to be like them but in the end he gets a lesson. Crystal thank you for sharing this story with everyone. I do recommend this book to EVERYONE especically those with kids and where bullying seems to be at its worst in society.

A great book for children dealing with bullying. It is easy to read and understand for young minds. A good segway into having a conversation about bullying. The illustrations are gorgeous too.
