The former First Lady becomes a suspect. Secrets are hard to keep in the incestuous town of Washington, D.C. where there are scoop-driven reporters, loose-lipped Congressional staffers, influence peddlers, and information buyers. Washington is also a place where it is sometimes -- maybe all the time -- impossible to separate fact from fiction, disinformation from real data, and direct quotes from editorial opinions. Wha-cked (Tucker Cherokee #4) Reviews
First, let me say that it did not take me four weeks to actually read this book. I probably could have read it in four days if life had not got in the way.Wha-cked is a mystery/thriller/adventure with subplots within questions within secrets within puzzles that gets satisfyingly resolved at the end. There are plenty of characters, both good, bad and questionable (thank you Mr. O'Dea for the list of characters, it was a great help when I picked the book back up after several days) and the action/adventure/suspense keeps you going. An entertaining read.
This book, either self published or published by some radical offshoot of the Republican Party is whacked all right. It is a thinly veiled, very thinly veiled, hatchet job on Ms. Clinton. The author looks old enough to remember the actual circumstances of that SUICIDE that he istrying to turn into murder, but evidently his memory is as poor as his writing skills.Save yourselves, people! Don't bother trying to read this garbage. My opinion, of course.
Interesting concept and story line. Characters were well-developed. The book makes you wonder what really happens in the White House. It was a quick and action-filled read. I liked the story in first-person; made you feel like you were one of the characters.
It took me a good few chapters to get into the style of writing in this book but once I was in I was hooked. Lots of different characters and sub plots kept my interest and kept me turning the pages until I finished it within two days
Thanks for choosing me as a first winner for this neat story. I read it in two days, couldn't put it down!
